We collect information that you provide directly to us and information that is automatically collected when you use the Service.

• Personal Information: When you create an account, book a court, or contact us, we may collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
• Location Data: With your permission, we collect your precise or approximate location data to help you find nearby indoor soccer courts and venues. You can enable or disable location services through your device settings.
• Transaction Information: When you make a booking or payment, we collect transaction details. Note that we do not store your full credit card information; payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors.
• Usage and Device Data: We automatically collect information about your device (e.g., IP address, device type, operating system) and how you interact with our Service (e.g., features used, time spent).

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
• Process bookings and payments for indoor soccer courts.

5. POPIA Compliance (South Africa)

For personal information we control, Dribbl acts as the Responsible Party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). We process personal information for specific and lawful purposes including account management, booking operations, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance.

Card and payment instrument data is processed by payment partners such as Paystack under their PCI-DSS controls. Dribbl does not store full card numbers or CVV data, but does process booking, payout, and identity data such as names, contact details, bank account details (for vendors), and addresses where required.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems or your data.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for operational, legal, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute-handling purposes, then delete or de-identify records where feasible.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can access and update your profile information through the app settings. You may also disable location services on your device.

Under POPIA, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where legally permissible, and objection to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

If you wish to delete your account, please contact us or use the deletion feature within the app.
