Risk & Fraud Policy

Last updated: 10/17/2026

1. Purpose

This policy defines how Dribbl manages fraud, financial crime, and onboarding risk to protect players, vendors, and payment flows.

2. Managed Marketplace Statement

We are a managed marketplace. We FICA-verify every vendor manually before they can receive payouts. Card booking payments are collected by Dribbl and held until sessions complete; vendor shares are then transferred via Paystack to each vendor's verified bank account. Dribbl retains its platform fee separately.

3. Vendor FICA Controls

  • Hard-block onboarding until compliance checks are complete.
  • Required documents: bank confirmation letter, representative ID, and CIPC registration documents for company vendors.
  • Verification status is reviewed before vendor approval and payout activation.

4. Payment & Payout Controls

  • Bank account details are validated programmatically before payout setup.
  • Vendors must pass compliance checks before payouts are enabled.
  • Payout transfer and settlement records are retained for audit and investigations.

5. Monitoring, Review, and Escalation

Dribbl monitors onboarding outcomes, payment anomalies, and disputes. We may request additional documentation, temporarily suspend vendor visibility, or block payouts where risk indicators are present.

Processor disputes and chargebacks are reviewed operationally, linked to the underlying booking or payment record, and can block settlement until the case is resolved.
